All eyes have been on Barron Trump since former President Donald Trump hit the campaign trail in a bid for a second term in the White House.

The buzz continues to surround the youngest and most mysterious of Trump’s five children.

His impressive height continues to make headlines. Trump shed light on why his son stands 6ft—7 in.

Barron’s height is apparently a result of his grandmother’s cooking— Melania Trump’s late mother, Amalia Knavs.

“That’s how he got so tall; he only ate her food. I said you’re gonna be a basketball player. He said, well, ‘I like soccer, Dad,’ actually. I thought… at your height, I like basketball better, but you can’t talk them into everything,’” he explained.

Barron Trump has a penchant for football, particularly English Premier League side Arsenal.

In 2018, while playing youth football with DC United, he even extended an invitation to the White House to English and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, who was then plying his trade Stateside with DC United.

In a previous interview with Megyn Kelly, the former president described Barron as a “good-looking kid” who could follow a similar career path to his old man. Interestingly, during the same interview, the former US president revealed that serious consideration had been given to Barron attending the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where three of his older half-siblings and his father studied.

Barron Trump is currently a college freshman at New York University.
