Major Update Released In The Death Of Minnesota Vikings CB Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson was in the passenger seat of a Dodge Charger driven by former high school teammate Isaiah Hazel, with another former teammate, Anthony Lytton, when he was killed along with his two friends back in 2024.
The Minnesota Vikings cornerback never got a chance to realize his NFL dream after being selected in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft with the 108th overall pick.
Things have certainly changed almost one year later.
That woman has been indicted in connection to a crash that killed Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson in July 2024.
Prince George’s County state attorney Aisha Braveboy announced on Thursday that a grand jury returned a 13-count indictment against Cori Clingman, which included counts of vehicular manslaughter and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Clingman is currently in custody pending a bond review.
She is facing a total of 13 charges and a maximum sentence of 30 years.
Clingman is accused by police of speeding and hitting Khyree Jackson’s car as she was attempting to make a lane change – causing the Vikings player’s Dodger Charger to go off the road and strike multiple tree stumps.

Khyree Jackson, who died in a motor vehicle accident, was the 108th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
A one-year player for the Ducks, Jackson was Oregon’s No. 1 corner for most of the 2023 season.
Before playing with the Ducks, the two-year reserve for Alabama after starting at a JUCO before he transferred to Oregon for his final season.
That turned out to be a great move as he was named first-team All-Pac-12 and finished second in the conference with three interceptions.
In 25 total games played, Khyree Jackson had 48 total tackles, 36 solo, six tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions, and nine passes defended.
