A top female WWE Superstar took to social media to send a message to Damage CTRL. The heel faction was keeping a close eye on the Women’s Championship match between Bayley and Naomi that took place recently on SmackDown.

Tiffany Stratton interfered during the closing stages of the match between The Role Model and The Glow and attacked both the champion and the challenger. Stratton’s actions led to the bout ending via disqualification.

During The Buff Barbie’s run-in, WWE cameras caught Damage CTRL’s reaction to which the former NXT Women’s Champion reacted by taking to her Instagram story.

At WrestleMania XL, IYO SKY lost the Women’s Championship to Bayley. The Genius of the Sky is still in the title picture and in the mix to challenge The Role Model for a rematch in the future.

Leading up to the Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania XL, SKY, Dakota Kai, and The Kabuki Warriors betrayed Bayley. This led to The Role Model’s exit from the faction that was originally formed by her.

Bayley opened up about her departure from Damage CTRL

Damage CTRL was formed back in 2022 when Bayley returned to WWE TV after recovering from a long-term injury. Upon her return, The Role Model introduced Dakota Kai and IYO SKY as her newest stablemates.

During her time in the heel faction, Bayley assisted SKY in winning the WWE Women’s Championship by dethroning Bianca Belair. SKY and Kai also won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice.

While speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Senior Editor Bill Apter, Bayley opened up about her exit from Damage CTRL.

“Yeah, if you would have seen when they attacked me that day, I definitely saw it coming. It was a long time coming, I think. I feel now, looking back in hindsight, that they were just waiting for the right moment, and I think they thought I was a little dumber than I really am, you know?” Bayley said.

At Backlash France, The Kabuki Warriors will defend their Women’s Tag Team Championship against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. Meanwhile, Bayley will defend the Women’s Championship against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi in a Triple Threat Match.
