The View is feeling that Friday vibe. Joy Behar shocked the panel when she let a swear word slip during a political chat this morning, dropping the profanity as the Hot Topics table was heating up just before a commercial.
Behar let loose this today during a chat about the upcoming presidential election and specifically, Barack Obama’s influence in stumping for Kamala Harris this month.
Sara Haines told the panel that Harris “has a good heart,” which she hopes voters will see and act on when they go to the polls.
“She is a good person at the end of the day, so what I’m saying is, I do trust the good in humanity in how they vote,” she said, then, gesturing at her heart, continued, “Check in here, because when you check in here, there is one clear person to vote for.”
Meanwhile, Behar argued, “What we’re talking about today is people who are voting against their own interests. That is what is required is that you do your homework and see what people are going to be doing for you.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed in, “But I think the character part matters because there are a lot of people who will vote for Donald Trump who don’t think they’re voting against their interests—”
Behar then cut in to exclaim, “Because they’re ill-informed!” as Griffin insisted, “But I do think they can be reached on the issue of character, because I do think most people — if you’re a parent, if you’re a child —”
But before she could continue, Sunny Hostin burst out, “They didn’t care about his character when he said that he would grab women by their genitals!”

Behar agreed, saying, “It’s too late,” as Hostin repeated, “They didn’t care about that.”
Griffin, holding her ground, told her co-hosts, “But you need to try and win over voters, not just like shame them.” The rest of her remark was drowned out by the ladies at the table, as Behar shot back, “They know his character,” and Ana Navarro said, “I always say this race is a binary choice, and you have somebody with a good heart and you have somebody with no heart.”
Before the debate could escalate any further, Behar cut to commercial in a way only she can.
“OK well, I’m gonna be a bitch right now: We’ll be right back!” she said, raising her eyebrows and throwing her hands up.
