The American team has finally taken its revenge on the European Team at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.

On Sunday, the score was 15.5 to 12.5. The entire American team celebrated and well the World No. 1 too was a part of it. However, ahead of the tournament, there have been rumors about Nelly Korda’s breakup. On the red carpet, everybody had brought their partners, from Lauren Coughlin and Ally Ewing to Sarah Schmelzel and Megan Khang.

But Korda was spotted alone, where usually she always had her boyfriend accompanying her to every event. Looks like there are possibilities of the rumor turning into reality. Claire Roger, the Senior Social media manager at Golf.com shared a picture of the men’s circuit posing with the trophy and kissing their partners. Among all the players, Rickie Fowler was the one who stood alone with a smirk on his face. After their victory, the American team recreated the same picture.

They were all wearing the white and red team jerseys and had the trophy placed in the center. Meanwhile, eight of the twelve players stood behind kissing their partners. However, four of them were seated on the ground, among them one was Nelly Korda. Claire Rogers posted the picture and wrote, “I think of the legacy Rickie Fowler created with these types of photos every time I see them”.

Nelly Korda’s tribute to Rickie Fowler in the picture left the golf community in tatters. From asking Nelly Korda out to making sarcastic jokes, the post was flooded with comments.

At the 2008 Ryder Cup, where the United States bagged the victory, all the team members got so emotional that they ended up kissing their partners. Rickie Fowler was the only one who had no partner, but well, he did not look upset about it all. It was his reaction in the middle of the couple that caused the picture to be so legendary.

It was pretty much the same with the American team at the Solheim Cup. They followed the trend of the men’s team at the Ryder Cup and posted the same picture, with single girls sitting alone. Taking to this, one of them wrote, “100%. Legendary Rickie moment”.

Nelly Korda entered the first tee at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club on Friday, dancing and cheering the whole crowd. There had been mishaps with the traveling system, and the spectators arrived late. To make up for it, Korda did a fun entry, which did indeed cheer up the audience. Taking to this, one of them even wrote, “@NellyKorda is too funny!”

Tiger Woods is known to be one of the best golfers in history. The 82X PGA Tour Champion was married to Elin Nordegren in 2004. However, he was known to date Kristin Smith and skier Lindsey Vonn, too. The news was what broke their marriage in 2010, and thus he prefers keeping his personal life away from the spotlight.

Nelly Korda, just like Woods, has broken several records on the LPGA Tour. Taking to this one of them compared her to Mr. T and wrote, “Wait a minute…why does Nelly not have someone there? She is as big as Tiger Woods was in his prime, I thought she was married?”

Apart from being an exceptional golfer, the American professional has also been declared the crush of several golf fans. It is due to her sweet nature and beautiful features that people are left crazy for her. A lot of them, on seeing her posing alone, took the opportunity to hilariously ask her out.

While one of them chivalrously giving her options wrote, “Umm… so Nelly, do you like long walks along the beach, dogs, thunderstorms, foreign films, or good coffee and conversation?” Another one hinting at the next Solheim Cup picture wrote, “Please let me know if you’re single in 2026 @NellyKorda”.
