This Morning viewers were left ‘feeling sick’ as they ‘switched off’ the ITV hit show after a segment on feet, which showed some images sent in by those watching at home

This Morning viewers were left feeling queasy as they claimed to switch off their TVs during the latest episode.

On Wednesday’s episode of the ITV hit daytime show Cat Deeley

And co-star Ben Shephard were back on our scenes and were joined by podiatrist Marianne, who was on hand to offer advice to anyone suffering with foot issues.

Ben started off by saying:

“Thank you for coming in. We’ve already been asking you for information because we have a number of issues between us and our families but who are you looking to help today?”

Marianne revealed: “Well I’m looking to help people with nail conditions, foot pain and lumps and bumps under the feet.”

Just before answering calls from viewers, Ben turned to Marianne and pointed out: “Can I just ask a question? There are a few viewers who have noticed that you have trainers on. Are you wearing trainers because they are good for feet or are you wearing them because you like them?”

The expert admitted: “It’s a bit of both because they are healthy for your feet but they are also very comfortable.” Pointing to her shoes, she continued: “These are a bit flat but I do have a sole to support my feet a little bit more.”

Ben asked: “So if you buy a pair of shoes and you feel like they don’t offer enough support you put something that will help your foot.”

“Yes exactly,” Marianne replied. “It gives more stability and it reduces the chance of foot pain.” Turning to the camera Ben added: “Excellent. There we go, hopefully that answers all your questions.”

Marianne went straight in and started answering a number of calls from viewers seeking her help but just minutes into the segment, viewers watching at home were not impressed as they went on to show multiple pictures of people’s feet on a screen.

It didn’t take long for many to rush straight to X to share their reaction to the moment.

One viewer wrote: “Great….just as I’m working up an appetite for lunch. #ThisMorning.” Another commented: “Well I was just about to have my lunch. Thanks @itv #thismorning.“

A third said: “@Upper___Gwladys Get them crusty nails off my TV. I’m going to be sick#thismorning.” Meanwhile one added: “@Rileymscott I’m off!! I can’t watch peoples dirty feet #thismorning.”
During the segment on feet on This Morning, viewers were left feeling disgusted and many even claimed to have switched off their TVs due to the graphic images shown on screen.

Despite the expert advice offered by podiatrist Marianne, the images of people’s feet were enough to put many viewers off their lunch.

Some viewers took to Twitter to express their revulsion, with one viewer stating, “Great…just as I’m working up an appetite for lunch. #ThisMorning.”

Another viewer sarcastically thanked ITV for ruining their lunch plans, tweeting, “Well I was just about to have my lunch. Thanks @itv #thismorning.”

The sight of people’s dirty feet even led one viewer to announce their departure from watching the show, writing, “@Rileymscott I’m off!! I can’t watch people’s dirty feet #thismorning.”

It’s clear that the segment on feet did not sit well with many viewers, with some feeling physically ill at the sight of the images shown on screen.

While the expert advice may have been helpful to some, the graphic nature of the segment was enough to prompt some viewers to switch off their TVs altogether.
