Dave Navarro Seemingly Confirms Jane's Addiction Has Broken Up: 'You Will Likely Never Hear it Live'

Dave Navarro has seemingly confirmed the breakup of Jane’s Addiction.

Following the recent on-stage incident where vocalist Perry Farrell attacked guitarist Dave Navarro, the band discontinued its current tour, with its future as a unit uncertain.

They released a new song titled “True Love” the other day, and Dave Navarro has taken the opportunity to comment on the band’s future.

In a social media post, Dave Navarro expressed his pride at having made the song but lamented that fans will “likely never hear it live,” seemingly confirming the band’s breakup.

He wrote:

“New Jane’s Addiction track released today, True Love. I am proud of the work we did on this song but I am equally saddened by the fact that you will likely never hear it live.”

Navarro continued, apologizing to their crew and opening bands, and expressing sorrow at all the work lost by the incident:

“I’d also like to publicly apologize to our crew, @crawlersband and their crew, and to @loveandrocketsofficial and their crew. Thanks for being our travel companions for as long as you did. I am gutted that things ended this way and that so many jobs were lost as a result. May all of our hearts mend together.”
