Some people online incorrectly assumed Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce broke up, just because she missed some of his football games. Multiple sources have spoken out about how off-base that speculation is, saying Swift and Kelce remain in a relationship.

The singer and football player are also aware of the breakup chatter, Us Weekly reports, and have a healthy way of coping with it. They simply pay no mind to it.

A source explained to the outlet, “They’re choosing not to dwell on the noise, focusing instead on staying true to themselves and being happy. They simply shrug off the stories. They see it as just another example of the press lifting someone up only to tear them down.”

Swift missed Kelce’s last two games for a variety of reasons, including the increased security risk of going to away games. She also has rehearsals before her Eras Tour resumes on October 18 in Miami. The source explained, “Their schedules are going to be getting super busy, so Taylor has been enjoying a few more days of freedom before her upcoming shows.”

Entertainment Tonight also spoke to a source on September 30, who shared Swift has been creating new music, too.

“Taylor and Travis are still together and doing well,” that insider explained. “He’s been busy with the NFL season, and she has been enjoying some time off before her upcoming shows. Even though Taylor isn’t currently touring, she is still very busy with work and sorting out her upcoming plans.” That source added, “Taylor is hoping to put out some new music and then take some time off together with Travis.”

Us Weekly’s source echoed said that Kelce and Swift are not making any decisions about their future until 2025. “They are both focused on their work now and just want to get through the holidays and the tour and will be figuring out their next moves after the new year,” the insider said.
