The internet went wild when the daughter of Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive revealed she is dating a former NBA guard. Vivek, who grew up in Mumbai, India, is also the founder and former CEO of TIBCO. In addition to owning the Kings, he owns the Sacramento River Cats Minor League Baseball team. This surprising news from his daughter has got everyone talking.
Anjali Ranadive, often called ‘Nani,’ is the daughter of the Sacramento Kings’ owner. She previously served as the general manager of the Stockton Kings, the Kings’ G-League affiliate.
Recently, she and her partner Jeremy Lamb, the former NBA guard, made their relationship public with an Instagram post in which they kissed while playing with wolf dogs at Anjali’s animal sanctuary, Jaws and Paws. She captioned the post with “My pack” and a heart emoji.
Jaws and Paws is a sanctuary run by women that helps wolf dogs and focuses on wolf conservation. This shows Anjali’s strong commitment to animal welfare and highlights her interests beyond basketball.
Anjali Ranadive And Jeremy Lamb’s Shared Journey In The Sacramento Kings Organization
Jeremy Lamb, who just announced his retirement from the NBA, played his last season with the Sacramento Kings, averaging 7.8 points per game in the 2021-22 season. His professional career lasted ten years, starting with the Houston Rockets, who picked him as the 12th overall player in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Over the years, Lamb played for several teams, including the Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Hornets, and Indiana Pacers. He also succeeded in the G League with teams like the Tulsa 66ers. In 2011, he won an NCAA championship with players like Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier at UConn.
He joined the Kings through a trade in February 2022 and played for the Stockton Kings until a back injury ended his season in March 2024. He officially retired from professional basketball in August 2024.
Anjali Ranadive and Jeremy Lamb share a strong bond because of their connections to the Sacramento Kings organization. Anjali was the general manager of the Stockton Kings from June 2023 until she stepped down in January 2024 to “pursue other ventures.” Don’t be surprised to see the new couple together at future Sacramento Kings games.
