Appearing on The View’s Behind The Table podcast, Alyssa, 35, shared how she is “going through IVF right now”.

“My husband and I have been hoping, trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half and it wasn’t happening naturally.

“We made the decision to move forward with IVF. This is now my second cycle.”

She went on, “Tomorrow, I will be in the doctor’s office dealing with that.

“I wanted to share it for a couple of reasons. A) I had no idea at my age how hard this actually would be.

“I’m only 35 and to me, I was like, I’ve got plenty of time. This won’t be that difficult, I’m healthy, I work out, I eat right.

“My body was just not cooperating with it. And then the first cycle, which we overshare with Brian. I was telling you like, oh no, I feel great.”

Alyssa added, “I was giving myself IVF injections at midnight on CNN on election night and working till four in the morning. And I felt fine. I didn’t cry, I didn’t have meltdowns, I didn’t feel hormonal swings.

“But I think I got kind of cocky because the second cycle, I’ve been a wreck. I’ve not felt myself, I’ve been tired, I’ve been emotional. And it does, it just, you feel uncomfortable in your body.

“And I just wanted to mention it because I feel like a lot of, from someone who was surprised by how hard it was, it’s because all the stories of this that we hear is usually women on the other side, who’s like, here’s my baby. And oh, real quick, it was kind of hard to get here.

“And I wanted to just share with women who are struggling that there is hope and you just have to kind of like be present in the process.”

Alyssa then admitted that she doesn’t know when she and her husband will find their “light at the end of the tunnel” but added how “it’s incredible what science can do”.

‘SCARY AND INTENSE’

She then spoke about how it’s “scary and intense” and noted how it “can be stressful because it doesn’t always go as easily as you want”.

Staying positive, Alyssa said, “They [the doctors and science] are amazing and they do make miracles and they do make things happen”.

Talking about how tough things can be while going through the IVF process, Alyssa added that it’s good to be “soft with your partner” and “loving”.

Then, at the very end of the episode, the host of the podcast seemingly took a veiled swipe at fellow The View star Whoopi Goldberg.

“Let us know,” the host signed off with, adding, “And don’t anybody ask her anything until she’s ready to go,” to which Alyssa responded with, “Yeah. Please”.

SUSPECTED VEILED DIG

The end jibe might have been a dig at Whoopi after the Sister Act actress asked Alyssa if she was pregnant back in 2023.

In September of last year, Whoopi looked at Alyssa and asked her out of nowhere: “Are you pregnant?”

Alyssa gasped and put her hand to her chest, saying: “No! Oh my God!”

“Where did that come from?” one of the other hosts asked, off-camera.

“You can’t say that when my mother-in-law is here, who’s dying for me to get pregnant!” Alyssa scolded Whoopi.

“Why would you say that?” Joy Behar asked.

“Why? Do I look pregnant?” Alyssa asked. “Do I have a tummy?”

“Yes!” Whoopi said. “I just got a vibe. I’m so sorry.”
