As you probably know, Patrik Laine was finally back in action Tuesday night at the Bell Centre after suffering a serious knee injury.
After the game, many journalists swarmed Laine to ask him questions, which led Anthony Martineau (TVA Sports) to find himself in a rather unusual position, to say the least.
He even shared a hilarious photo to illustrate the moment.
His photo went viral online and sparked numerous reactions, but it wasn’t really about his position.
It was Patrik Laine’s knee brace that caught people’s attention and concerned many fans.
It’s normal for Patrik Laine to wear a knee brace
To reassure some fans, know that it’s absolutely normal.
Reminder: a good number of players on the team wear a knee brace. It’s a common practice in the team’s locker room.

There’s no need to conclude that Laine was wearing a knee brace after the game because he was in pain or because he’s not 100%.
Don’t jump to conclusions, that’s all.
Let’s remember that, against the New York Islanders and Patrick Roy, Laine scored his first career goal in his first game in a Montreal Canadiens jersey.
An absolutely magical and unforgettable evening for him.
In short, many great little stories from this unique evening for Patrik Laine.
Laine and the Montreal Canadiens face off against Steven Stamkos and the Nashville Predators tonight at 7:00 PM live from the Bell Centre.
