NFC West foes San Francisco and Los Angeles faced off again on Sunday, and Sean McVay’s squad came away with a very important victory over Kyle Shanahan’s crew.

However, he is now being called out for his behavior after that contest was over.

Following the 27-24 victory at SoFi Stadium, where there were more 49ers fans than Rams fans, a picture surfaced online showing the head coaches interacting with each other.

A photo of Sean McVay patting Shanahan on the head made its way to social media, and it does not look good for the Rams coach.

Some even called it disrespectful.

The last time the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers met, head coaches Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan were without some starters, but that was Week 18 of the 2023 season, and both teams had already clinched playoff berths.

This past Sunday, it was somewhat the same as star players were out, but due to injuries.

Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Christian McCaffrey were all out, which slightly tainted the game.

The Rams were 0-2 and desperate not to start the year 0-3, as only six teams have made the playoffs after beginning the year 0-3 since 1979.

Joshua Karty hit a 37-yard field goal with 2 seconds to play, and the Los Angeles Rams staged a spectacular late rally for a 27-24 victory, keeping hope alive for the team going forward.

Sean McVay Gave Two-Word Reaction To Dramatic Victory Over 49ers

The Los Angeles Rams won a wild one over the San Francisco 49ers in a game that saw them down double digits as they had to endure their home crowd being a road crowd.

Joshua Karty hit a go-ahead field goal, and Los Angeles won the game 27-24.

Rams head coach Sean McVay would soon be in the press room with reporters and had a two-word reaction to what transpired.

“Holy s—,” he said.

“… What a job by our group. Just continuing to battle, continuing to fight,” McVay continued. “There’s a lot of guts. There’s a lot of resilience in this group. And it’s just one game, but I’m really proud of ’em.”
