Sporting icon Tiger Woods has played with numerous presidents over the years, and was once asked to give his reviews on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
When asked about Obama he replied: “Straight. Extremely competitive, he hits it straight.”
When Colbert inquired about Obama’s game, Woods prompted much laughter by adding: “Hard to hit it crooked when you hit it not long-ish.”
Woods’ other answers were also amusing, saying that George H. W. Bush was “Fast. Yes he’s very good but very fast, we played in about two hours.”
He also commented that Bill Clinton’s game involved “Lots of cuts” but prompted the most laughter when asked about Donald Trump.
“You said presidents,” Woods replied, with the interview taking place in 2016, a year before Trump’s election.

Woods and Obama’s last documented round together was in 2018 at the Floridian less than a year after the politician stepped down as president.
If Woods and Obama wasn’t star-studded enough for those on location, they were also joined by basketball icon Michael Jordon for their round.
Obama’s competitiveness may well have subsided by then too, with him taking part in multiple rounds since leaving the White House, including taking on Jordan Spieth and Steph Curry.
Woods, meanwhile, is still suffering from the effects of a near-fatal car accident in 2021.
These days, his only competitive outings come in the majors and a small handful of PGA Tour events.
Despite ongoing struggles with injuries and questions over his ability to compete, Woods still believes he can win at the highest level.
Speaking to talkSPORT.com at The Open in July, he said: “I’ll play as long as I can play and I feel like I can win the event.”
When pressed on whether that belief has wavered amid a number of poor finishes in recent years, he simply replied: “No.”
