During a recent interview with ESPN, Edwards made a surprising remark alongside Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson. The Timberwolves star mentioned that he will join the NFL after securing a championship in the next 3-4 years.

Edwards: “Football players can’t go play basketball, no way. I told my buddies, I said, ‘If I win a ring, in the next three to four years, I’m going to play football.’”.

Jefferson: “You’re not going to football.”
