The reason why Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were cycling on the night of the tragedy has emerged in a new report.
Four days have passed since the terrible tragedy that took the lives of Johnny and Johnny Gaudreau, and new information continues to come out almost every day.
It didn’t took too long before knowing that Sean Higgins was behind the wheel of the car that hit the brothers and that he was drunk.
Also, we already knew that Johnny and Matthew’s sister Katie was supposed to get married on Friday, the day after their passing, and that the brothers were set to be groomsmen.
A new development has come out, confirming why they were cycling that day.
It has been revealed that when Sean Higgins decided to drink and drive, the brothers were cycling back home from the rehearsal dinner ahead of the wedding.
This immense tragedy is devastating, and it seems like every time a new detail comes out, it makes it even sadder.
Hopefully, the next updates will be about Sean Higgins’ jail sentence.
Tomorrow, the court should rule on a hearing date after Higgins spent the long weekend held up in a cell.
A video leaked about his reaction upon knowing he’d be locked up during the weekend, showing Higgins letting out a exasperated sigh.
Check it out here:
Let’s just say that three days will be nothing compared to the real time he should spend in prison for his crime.
Stay tuned as we’ll report any updates on the Gaudreau family or Sean Higgins’ fate that come out.
