Tough roads ahead. A source says Carrie Underwood’s packed schedule will come at the cost of quality time with hubby Mike Fisher and sons Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5.
“Their friends worry about how they’re going to keep it together,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style, explaining that the Grammy winner, 41, will spend extended time away from the family’s Nashville home for her Las Vegas residency and American Idol hosting gig. “Carrie will be home every spare moment she has,” says the source, adding that Mike, who retired from hockey in 2018, will hold down the fort for the boys.
“Kids need structure so for the most part they’ll stay at home while Carrie’s traveling.” Carrie doesn’t take Mike’s support for granted. “Long distance is always a challenge, but Carrie says their faith in marriage and in God is stronger than anything,” adds the source. “She wishes people would stop worrying.”
Watch Carrie Underwood Make Surprise Appearance At Nashville Church Singing Christmas Classics
If you thought your Christmas season has been good so far, just know that others have had a much, much better time than you.
Carrie Underwood surprised a church in Nashville to join a Christmas concert. What was a quaint gathering to engage in the Christmas spirit suddenly became a Carrie Underwood performance.
The singer is openly Christian, so it was pretty sweet of her to drop in and make the Christmas celebration more special. Although only one person should be front and center during Christmas, I’m sure he won’t mind if Underwood takes the stage for a moment.
In all seriousness, she delivered a spectacle of a performance and stunned the audience who were not expecting a drop-in from one of the biggest things in country right now.
Numerous TikTok videos documented the concert, where she can be seen bellowing brilliant renditions of “O’ Holy Night,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “The First Noel.” Her vocalizations are jaw-dropping, and those lucky church-goers got to hear them for free.
Maybe I should hit up the ol’ holy house more often in case some other singers feel like dropping in for a hymn or two.
Internet Reacts To Carrie Underwood’s Stellar Christmas Performance
The comment sections of the videos are writhing with the envious. Although they are mostly compliments of her singing ability, I’m sure they’re all regretting bumping off the Saturday service.
“Jesus is shining through her gift!???,” writes one, enamoured with her performance.
“um which church is this… because I may need to try one sunday ?,” jokes another (see, I told you).
“I’m so jealous I wasn’t there,” admits one.
“LOVE WHEN CARRIE SINGS ABOUT JESUS ???,” a fan exclaims.
“If she doesn’t lead worship in heaven I’m gonna have a talk with an angel or something cause y’all…” semi-seriously jokes one more.
Most other comments are standard compliments, although they are all warranted. Underwood delivered an awesome performance that the audience won’t forget. She’s just made their festive season much more memorable.
