Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever made a solid run in the latter half of the 2024 WNBA season, making their first playoff appearance since 2016. However, they fell short in the postseason after losing to the Connecticut Sun in two games.
A few weeks after the season ended, the Fever parted ways with head coach Christie Sides after just two years with the organization. They filled her role with former Sun coach and 2023 WNBA Coach of the Year Stephanie White, who ironically ended Sides’ tenure in Indianapolis.
Now, over a month later, Clark and White have finally hit the court together.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Indiana, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star can be seen working on numerous parts of her game with White looking on. Clark starts by strengthening her handles before going into set plays and floaters.
Then, in the back half of the video, White is seen on the court showing a glimpse of the future, teaching Clark a few tricks.
WNBA fans loved Clark’s first workout with her new head coach, leaving their thoughts on social media, with many predicting her MVP season is on the horizon.
“MVP SEASON,” one fan said. “BOOK IT.”
“2025 MVP loading,” added another.
“The league is not ready for Caitlin Clark 3.0,” wrote a third. “MVP is hers to lose!”
“She still has up to 4 more months of this before the next season begins,” chimed in a fourth. “That MVP charge is gonna be so lit. I’m here for all of it.”
“She’s going for that MVP season,” commented a fifth.
“MVP SEASON,” posted a sixth.

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.
Clark already turned into one of the best WNBA players during her rookie year, making the All-WNBA first team and breaking numerous records, including the most assists in a single season and the most points by a rookie.
If she could add skills to her repertoire from a coach such as White, then the league should certainly be concerned about this young Fever team.
