We have action to report on the NHL waiver wire, and it notably involves goaltender Cayden Primeau.

The official confirmation has just come in.

It’s not just Cayden Primeau; Daniel Torgesson is also involved.

Two Names Placed on the NHL Waiver Wire

See the posts from renowned Elliotte Friedman:

«Daniel Torgesson (WIN) placed on waivers for the purpose of contract termination.»

«Primeau (Montreal) on waivers as the team indicated yesterday.»

And here’s the official confirmation from the Montreal Canadiens:

We will find out tomorrow at 2:00 PM what will happen with Cayden Primeau and the Winnipeg Jets forward, but one thing is certain: it’s now officially official.

Primeau has been placed on waivers, and his fate is sealed for now.

Primeau, 25 years old, has a record of 2-3-1 this season, with a goals-against average of 4.70 and a historically low save percentage of 0.836.

We sincerely wish him the best of luck moving forward, whether it’s with the Laval Rocket or elsewhere in the NHL.
