Dee Alford and Justin Jefferson (Photo via Twitter)
Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dee Alford won’t want to see this footage in the film review.
Justin Jefferson is a perennial First-Team All-Pro receiver and has the talent to make defensive players lose their minds.
However, defenses have been good about keeping him from the end zone, as the dynamic Vikings wideout hasn’t scored since October 20th.
However, Atlanta Falcons’ Dee Alford discovered that superstar players can break out anytime.
With the Minnesota Vikings trying to extend a 14-13 lead in the late third quarter, Jefferson found himself wide open with nobody around him,
He was holding up his hand for so long that Alford had a chance to catch up, but for some reason, he became confused as he panicked and took himself out of the play.
First, he turned his body the wrong way to look for the ball, and then, he fell to the ground as Jefferson casually caught the ball and walked in.
“His locker already cleaned out lmao,” one fan said.
One fan suggested the Atlanta Falcons player will be hearing from the league: ‘Drug test incoming 😭😭.”
“He tripped over his pink slip,” another X user stated.
A gamer added, “When u press the wrong button on controller.”
Another guy wants him gone from the NFL: “Number 20 gotta be banned from the league I’m crying.”
One final fan summed it up: “The DB just looks to his right? Did he not see the tall purple guy on his left. Ya know, the one he was chasing…..”
The Atlanta Falcons Freefall Continues
Atlanta has now lost 4 in a row, with Kirk Cousins throwing 0 touchdowns and eight interceptions during that stretch.
The Atlanta Falcons came out swinging in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, but the wheels eventually fell off, and the team lost the game, 42-21.
The loss dropped them to 6-7 and out of first place in the NFC South.
