While we are waiting for updates on the injury to Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine, Martin St-Louis has responded.
Questioned during the press conference by journalists about the truth regarding the injury suffered by the Finnish forward, St-Louis was quite candid.
We had hoped he would be reassuring during his press conference, but that wasn’t exactly the case, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Reporter: «Since Patrik Laine perhaps still had a chance to come back in the game, can we assume it wasn’t too serious, his injury?»
Marty St. Louis: «Honestly I don’t know. I have to speak with Ramer.»

Let’s recall that fan favourite Patty Laine left the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets after just one period due to what the organization described as an upper-body injury.
Fortunately, it is not related to his knee, but still.
Laine has had a fantastic start in Montreal, scoring 8 goals (9 points) in nine games and one period.
We’re sending him positive vibes and hope that the injury he suffered last night isn’t too serious.
It’s very clear that Patty Laine’s comments did not sit well in the Blue Jackets’ locker room and he was being targeted with physical play.
More details will follow.
