Justin Baldoni escaped his drama with his “It Ends With Us” co-star Blake Lively by spending the day with his family last week.
Baldoni, his wife Emily and their two kids Maiya, 9, and Maxwell, 6, enjoyed a fun day at Universal Studios in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The couple and their kids posed for sweet family photos in front of the theme park’s entrance — though Maiya and Maxwell kept their backs toward the camera to keep their faces concealed.

He and the Swedish actress tied the knot in July 2013 after nearly two years of dating.
Baldoni appeared to be having a lovely time despite swirling rumors that he had been beefing with Lively, 37, on set of their new film based on Colleen Hoover’s popular book.

Baldoni, who directed and stars in the film alongside Lively, ignited speculation that there was drama with the “Gossip Girl” alum they were not photographed together during the press tour ahead of the film’s debut on Aug. 9.
Sources said that Baldoni and Lively, a producer of the film, butted heads during the post-production process and that the actress footed the bill for a second cut of the movie.
The actors reportedly agreed on the final cut of the feature, though it’s unclear whose version ended up in theaters.

Meanwhile, multiple sources exclusively told Page Six that Baldoni made Lively feel uncomfortable on set.
One industry source claimed that Baldoni created an “extremely difficult” atmosphere behind the scenes for the entire cast while another insider said there were a few moments on set that made Lively feel “uncomfortable” about her postpartum body.
Lively started filming the movie shortly after welcoming her fourth child, son Olin, with her husband Ryan Reynolds.
However, sources who have worked with Baldoni defended him, telling us he would never intentionally make any of his actors feel unsupported.

He also owns the rights to Hoover’s 2022 sequel, “It Starts With Us.” Sources told us that things on set continued to sour due to Baldoni saying he may not return for a possible follow-up film.
Meanwhile, Lively has been criticized for being tone-deaf while promoting the film, which features themes of domestic abuse, by discussing floral fashion, her Blake Brown haircare line and her husband’s “Deadpool & Wolverine” movie during her press circuit.
However, she defended herself amid the backlash, saying that the character she plays is defined by more than just her toxic relationship.

“She defines herself, and I think that’s deeply empowering. … No one else can define you. No experience can define you. You define you,” she added.
Things seem to be business as usual for Lively, who was spotted enjoying some time with her husband and friends at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island home for a starry pool party this weekend.
