During a press conference after yesterday’s game, the young Montreal Canadiens forward, Juraj Slafkovsky, had plenty to say.
With his usual straightforward manner, he provided an abundance of material for the journalists present.
He notably spoke about this:
He also had the press laughing with the following statement:
Journalist: You’ve seen some pretty good (Habs) crowd reactions here, how would you rate the one Patrik Laine got?»
Juraj Slafkovsky: «It was pretty good. It wasn’t as better as when I scored a hat trick but it’s up there for sure!»

In short, Juraj always entertains.
He also made a hilarious, curiosity-piquing comment about his new teammate, Patrik Laine.
Patrik Laine kept Juraj Slafkovsky laughing throughout the game with special remarks on the Habs bench
We love it!
Slafkovsky on Laine:
“Just being on the bench with him is hilarious. You should hear the things he says. I’m in tears the whole game!”
– Like what, for example?
“I can’t repeat that.”

In any case, Patrik Laine’s return seems to be excellent for the team’s atmosphere, which is great news for the Montreal Canadiens.
Of course, we don’t expect Laine to be a savior who single-handedly brings the team “back into the mix,” but he could certainly provide that spark to make a difference, not to mention the massive impact he could have on the power play.
Clearly, he’s made a strong debut, and we’re genuinely happy for him. He’s worked so hard to get back.
