Jax Taylor has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The “Valley” star — who spent most of August in a mental health facility — took to Instagram Monday to reveal the diagnoses.

“A little over a month ago, I checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility scared of the unknown and what I would find out about myself,” the 45-year-old told his followers.

“After many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was, I recently learned that I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD.”

Taylor admitted it’s been “an emotional time” and “a lot to process.”

“However,” he continued, “I’ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace.”

Taylor and his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, share 3-year-old Cruz.

The “Vanderpump Rules” alum confessed that he’d “be lying” if he said he “wasn’t scared for the future” but stated that his “focus” is “trying to be a better version” of himself than he was yesterday.

“Mental health is a lifelong battle of not letting it control you but rather you learning to control it,” he explained.

Taylor concluded his lengthy caption, which accompanied a black-and-white photo of him reading a book, by thanking “everyone who has reached out in support and who also shared their own personal struggles” with him.

Taylor’s rep told Page Six on July 30 that the Bravolebrity “made the decision to seek inpatient treatment.”

“Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast,” the rep made sure to note, calling it “a particularly sensitive time for him and his family” while asking for “privacy and respect.”

The next day, Taylor shared with his followers that his motivation for seeking help was his son, Cruz.

“Trying to get better for you buddy, daddy loves you so much,” the former model wrote atop an Instagram Story photo showing him carrying and kissing the toddler.

Taylor revealed on his joint podcast with Cartwright, “When Reality Hits,” in early June that he had met an “absolutely amazing” female doctor at their sports bar, Jax’s Studio City.

“And I went in there, and I literally just broke down,” he explained.

“I’m like, ‘This is what’s wrong with me, and this is what I’m doing, and this is who I’m attacking. And I have serious, serious anger issues, and I have a child, and I don’t want him to see me act like that.’”

Cartwright, 35 — who was co-hosting the episode with Taylor — added that they were trying to “exhaust everything else” before divorcing.

The Kentucky native requested full legal and physical custody of Cruz but OK’d visitation rights for Taylor.

She addressed the divorce for the first time on her and Taylor’s podcast a few days later.

“It’s taken me many, many years to get to this point where I gained enough courage and strength to do what’s best for me, get myself out of a toxic relationship and ultimately see my worth,” she said in the episode.

Cartwright announced the pair’s separation on their podcast in February.

She told her co-stars in the Season 1 finale of “The Valley,” which aired in June, that Taylor — who admittedly cheated on her when they were dating — would become “mean as a f–king snake” while fighting off frequent hangovers.
