JEOPARDY! fans have insisted a new contestant looks ‘almost identical’ to a music icon as today’s returning champ narrowly wins her 4th game.
Jordan Carr Peterson made his Jeopardy! debut on Tuesday’s nail-biting episode and despite his impressive gameplay, it was his “uncanny” resemblance to a legendary musician that struck viewers.

The professor from Knoxville, Tennessee, went up against Jasmine Zhou, an ASIC engineer from Woodland, California and returning champ Ashley Chan.
Ashley, a publicist from Lewisville, Texas, has already built up quite the Jeopardy! resume with winnings of $46,500.
By the end of the first break, Ashley and Jasmine were nearly tied – having just a $400 difference between the two.
Jasmine had the early lead with $4,800, while Jordan was in third with $800.
When it was time for the game to return from break, host Ken Jennings, 50, walked over to the trio of contestants for the interview segment.
Jordan, who appeared enthusiastic about being on the show, boasted about becoming a “semi-pro Mario Kart player” during the pandemic.
He even noted that he had won a regional competition in his native East Tennessee.
Viewers were distracted by his resemblance towards a rockstar legend, Peter Cetera of the Grammy-winning band, Chicago.

“Jordan looks like Peter Cetera from the Chicago band,” one person wrote.
Another said: “Jordan’s resemblance to a younger Peter Cetera is uncanny. Just gotta grow out the hair and it’s a dead ringer.”
“I can totally see that! It’s something about the eyes and face shape I think,” someone replied.
“Jordan looks like a mix of Peter Cetera and Billie Joel Armstrong,” a fourth noted.

Peter, 80, who was the frontman for the Illinois-based rock band since its conception in 1967, left the group after nearly 20 years in 1985 to pursue a solo career.
The risky move to venture out on his own ended up being a success, as he scored number one singles – as well as an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award nomination.
DOUBLE JEOPARDY!
Back in the Jeopardy! game, Jasmine and Ashley continued to swap leads as Jordan held his own with quick buzzer work.
Heading into Final Jeopardy!, Ashley maintained her lead with $18,800 while Jasmine secured $15,600.
Jordan was in third place with $10,200.
Ken read the last clue after revealing the category to be “Fictional Characters.”
“Dressed in white in her first scene, this play character says her name means ‘white woods,’ he read.
“Who is Blanche DuBois?” was the correct response – which all three players accurately wrote down.
Ashley wagered $0, ending her total with $20,900 while Jasmine was just $300 shy of becoming a champ with $20,600.
Jordan ended his game against the impressive opponents with $12,000.
Due to Jasmine’s great gameplay, many fans are hoping she’ll score a spot in the Second Chance Tournament after today’s loss.
“That was a fantastic game! I wonder if Jasmine will be a potential competitor for the SCT,” one person wrote.
Another agreed: “Agreed. Jasmine put up some STIFF competition and was bold with her one DD, even though that category was epic fail for all three up until then.
“I liked her sense of humor, too. It feels pretty rare that contestants laugh during game play, even when something is funny – she recognizes a joke, she laughs aloud with her identifiable laugh, and is unconcerned. Hope we see her again.”
“Ashley has become a favorite in our house! Jordan was also extremely intelligent and knew a wide range of topics,” another added.
