Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, widely projected to be the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, had an interesting tweet following the results of Sunday’s NFL Games.

The New York Giants were crushed 34-7 on the road by the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, dropping them to 2-13 on the year. The Las Vegas Raiders, who were tied with the Giants for the worst record, beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 19-14 to move to 3-12.

With the Giants losing and the Raiders winning, New York is awfully close to locking up the No. 1 pick. That would give them first dibs on Sanders, the consensus top QB prospect in the 2025 class.

After the Raiders defeated the Jaguars, Sanders posted the following one-word message on X/Twitter that has folks wondering if he’s thrilled about the prospect of going to the Giants:

For what it’s worth, Deion Sanders told Adam “Pacman” Jones earlier this week that he knows the Giants wouldn’t trade the top pick, and that his son will be the first-overall selection:

Giants Need Shedeur Sanders

As currently constructed, the Giants have very little to offer their fans from a long-term outlook. But if they can get a QB like Shedeur Sanders, things suddenly begin to look up for this long-struggling organization.
