The 27-year-old Kick Ass star, who once dated Brooklyn Beckham, threw her support behind Kamala Harris in the US presidential race, sharing her reasons in an empowering Instagram post.
Chloe Grace Moretz has come out
Actress Chloe Grace Moretz came out as a “gay woman” while endorsing a presidential candidate on social media.
The 27-year-old star of Kick-Ass, previously linked to Brooklyn Beckham, voiced her support for Kamala Harris in an empowering Instagram post.
Wearing an “I voted early 2024” sticker, Chloe wrote: “I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris. There is so much on the line this election.
“I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor. Kamala Harris will protect that for us.”
Expressing her alignment with Harris’s policies, she added: “I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman.
SO… Are you voting early? Let’s get a plan together to get to your polling place with your friends! Go to IWillVote.com to figure out the best plan for you.”
Reflecting on her past, the actress recalled her relationship with Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn from 2014 to 2018, during which they supported Hillary Clinton at the 2016 DNC before Clinton’s defeat by Donald Trump.
Although Chloe’s revelation about her sexuality is a new development, it may not come as a surprise to her fans.
Chloe Grace Moretz previously dated Brooklyn Beckham
Since 2018, People magazine has speculated about her relationship with Kate Harrison after they were seen kissing at Nobu in California.
Chloe confirmed being in a long-term relationship last year. The couple has made multiple appearances on each other’s Instagram feeds, including a recent post from a friend’s wedding in September.
Earlier this year, they were spotted wearing rings on their left hands during a trip to Disneyland, where they wore matching denim outfits.
Chloe’s endorsement of Kamala Harris coincided with the presidential hopeful’s surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live, just days before the US presidential election.
