A few days ago, we saw some news that really made fans happy involving Montreal Canadiens defenseman David Reinbacher.
The former fifth overall pick started skating again, which is really good news.
He suffered a knee surgery this fall, and it seems like everything is going as planned. This shows that his injury is healing well.
Anthony Marcotte from BPM Sports said that the Canadiens want him to play with the Laval Rocket before the end of the season.
I think it’s a good idea.
It reminds us of last year when he went to play in Laval for the playoffs, but this year, it’s sure to be a bit different because he’s coming back from a severe injury.
But if he’s healthy, it could really help the young player regain confidence.
The Canadiens have reportedly changed their mind about David Reinbacher and are now comfortable with allowing him to return to play this season (unlike Kirby Dach last year)
It is very positive that the Habs seem to be comfortable with the idea of him playing before the end of the season.
Unlike Kirby Dach last year, who wanted to play but the doctors said no. This shows that his injury might be less serious than we thought.
If he manages to play a few games, it will surely help him prepare for the summer.
In any case, we’re happy for him, and can’t wait to see what he does with the Rocket at the end of the season, and later with the Montreal Canadiens.
This is definitely a story we will continue to closely monitor.
