A brawl erupted outside of one of Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Chicken restaurants after the former NBA superstar made a surprise appearance this week.
Shaq, the proud owner of the Big Chicken restaurant chain, revealed last week that he was planning to pop up at one of the fast food outlets, though he did not disclose which one.
He showed up at the one in Hartland, Michigan, which did not have the security required for such a large event because the meet-and-greet was not announced.
Of course, once people found out the Big Aristotle was in the building, they began pouring in, which led to a fight near the restaurant’s entrance.
You can see surveillance footage of the disturbance below.
Shaquille O’Neal Met Fans Despite The Disturbing Incident
O’Neal, who was unharmed, met several fans at the venue after law enforcement took care of the situation.
Meanwhile, two women and a man have been hit with multiple felony charges as part of the incident. The video below shows one of the women trying to steal an officer’s taser before getting knocked to the ground. The man responds by trying to punch the lawman while the second woman joins in the attack before the incident is contained.
“I got one question was the chicken good 😆,” someone inquired.
“What Shaq putting in the chicken?🤣,” another asked.
“He saved his boo,” someone else observed.
Folks were allowed into the restaurant after the individuals shown above were apprehended.
Shaquille O’Neal has over 40 Big Chicken restaurants across 16 states. The chain also operates on Carnival Cruises and has been around since 2018, having launched in Las Vegas.
