The Minnesota Timberwolves continued their winning streak with a victory over the San Antonio Spurs, following their previous win against the Denver Nuggets, which had featured a brawl between Rudy Gobert and Christian Braun. Their recent victory featured a similar drama, as tensions flared between Wolves forward Jaden McDaniels and Spurs star Jeremy Sochan.
The brawl occurred in the third quarter, with the Spurs leading 76-62. During a possession for San Antonio, the two players got tangled up under the basket. It all started when Sochan grabbed McDaniels’ jersey after a Chris Paul three-pointer.
Soon, Sochan brought him to the ground, not letting go of McDaniels’ jersey. Once they were back on their feet, tensions flared. McDaniels couldn’t resist his anger, so he appeared to grab Sochan by the collar and got right in his face.
The situation escalated as the two exchanged shoves, leading to a brief scuffle. Referees quickly intervened, issuing technical fouls to both players for their roles in the altercation.

One of the night’s standout performers was Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan. Sochan recorded 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, shooting 66.7% from the field and 50% from three-point range.
On the Timberwolves’ side, Jaden McDaniels may not have led the team in scoring, but he and his teammates ultimately came away with the win. McDaniels finished with a modest 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist, but it was enough to help push the Timberwolves to victory.
The Spurs are set to face the Los Angeles Clippers, while the Timberwolves will take on the Charlotte Hornets in their next matchups.
