Travis Kelce was the subject of a wicked bit of trolling during the ‘Jeopardy!’ game show this week.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is now way more famous due to his relationship with Taylor Swift, one of the most recognized women on the planet and certainly the hottest thing in music right now.
As such, his name has been popping up everywhere.
It was the correct answer to a particular question in the “TV Show in Question” category during a recent ‘Jeopardy!’ episode, with the question reading, “Are you Smarter than a Celebrity’ is hosted by this man who’s maybe more famous as a boyfriend than as a three-time Super Bowl champ.”
That last part seemed to assure contestant Derek that he knew the correct answer, as he quickly asked, “Who is Travis Kelce?”
Check it out in the video below:
Travis Kelce Is A Star In His Own Right
Of course, Kelce is a star in his own right and would still be one of the most popular athletes in the world had he not hooked up with Taylor Swift.
The 35-year-old is widely considered to be the greatest NFL tight end of all time, having won three Super Bowls. Named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team, Kelce has also made nine Pro Bowls, earning four first-team All-Pro selections and three second-team All-Pro honors.
The star TE did get off to a slow start this season but appears to be getting back to his best as the Chiefs continue to steamroll opponents en route to a potential third-straight Super Bowl. They boast an 8-0 record despite hardly playing their best football.
As for Kelce, he’s a nailed-on certainty for Hall of Fame induction. But he would be the first to admit that his relationship with Taylor has shot him into a different stratosphere.
