Kayla Nicole has apparently gotten herself a new sports job.
Nicole, a journalist and fitness influencer, is also known for her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, whom she dated for several years before they called things off in 2022.
As it happened, Kayla’s new job required her to mention the Chiefs TE when she appeared on the ‘I Am Athlete Daily Show’ to discuss betting picks alongside ex-players Brandon Mashall and Aqib Talib.
Given that the Chiefs were playing the New Orleans Saints on Monday night, Nicole ended up discussing her ex. She started off by asking whether Patrick Mahomes would throw for more than 235.5 yards before bringing up Kelce and his struggles to start the season.
“Been a slow start for the guy Travis Kelce,” she began before asking whether he would go higher than 58.5 yards. Turns out he did, making nine catches for 70 yards in the 26-13 win. Mahomes also threw north of the aforementioned number, registering 331 passing yards.
Fans Were All Singing Kayla Nicole’s Praises After She Mentioned Travis Kelce
Social media would sound off in the comments, praising Nicole for her professionalism.
“Forever proud of you, truly what cant you do & absolutely crush!” someone wrote.
“The way I cackled when she said “the guy Travis Kelce” 😭🤣 Kayla you are so real for this lmao,” someone added.
“Its the professionalism for me…Done like a true Scorpio ♏️ would..😂 Love it!!” said a third.
“She’s the true G. O. A. T. She kept it professional and classy. She’s moved on. It’s the Swifties who go on the attack and she’s not lowering herself to that nonsense. She does her job and she’s never come out publicly and attached TK or TS. She’s always kept it 💯… she doesn’t need her significant other to put her on the map. She’s putting herself there… next!!” another said.
“It’s not personal it’s business baby!” another comment read.
Someone else would have probably flushed in that situation, but good on Kayla for keeping it moving.
