Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players in NBA history due to his exceptional skills. However, this does not necessarily mean he would excel in the NFL. An old video showcasing Durant testing his football skills has recently resurfaced online.
In a clip shared by Dov Cleiman on X (previously known as Twitter), Durant faces off against Devin Tyler, a former professional football offensive lineman. Durant attempts to evade the lineman using spins and deceptive moves; however, he ultimately finds himself on the ground.
This footage emphasizes the challenges that NBA players may encounter when trying to transition into the NFL, highlighting the distinct demands of each sport. Many fans shared their opinions in the comments section, with most discussing the differences between the two sports.
Despite the ongoing discussions about player performances, Durant remains one of the premier athletes in the NBA due to his remarkable accomplishments. His exceptional abilities on the basketball court have garnered him a substantial following throughout his career.
Kevin Durant Expresses Uncertainty About Receiving Statue Tribute
Recently, the Miami Heat honored Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade by unveiling a statue of him outside the Kaseya Center. Following this event, rumors have surfaced about other athletes who may receive statues in the future. Nevertheless, Durant articulated his perspective, asserting that he did not believe that he would get a statue.
“I highly highly doubt I get a statue of me put anywhere for playing basketball… It’s usually those guys that got the HOF career, with championships, you been with one city for a long time. That’s not the case for me,” Durant said in a recent appearance on the Up And Adams Show on Fanduel TV.
Kevin Durant accomplished several remarkable milestones during his professional career. Currently competing in the league, he is focused on further expanding his list of achievements. Many fans advocate for the construction of a statue honoring the two-time NBA champion. However, due to his tenure with multiple teams, Durant expresses uncertainty regarding his prospects of receiving such esteemed recognition.
