The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Toronto Raptors 123-103. While many fans celebrated the win, several Raptors supporters were disappointed by star player LeBron James’ behavior during the game.

During the third quarter of the game, James forcefully slammed the ball into Raptors forward Ochai Agbaji while attempting to fight for a loose ball. A new angle of the incident recently surfaced online, leading fans to criticize James for his actions. Supporters believe that if any other player had done the same, they would have been assessed a foul.

Many fans noted that James could have thrown the ball toward Agbaji’s body with less force. Several other fans recalled a similar play by James at Scottie Barnes in the game between the Raptors and Lakers on March 14, 2022.

The Lakers secured a win, led by King James’ outstanding performance. The four-time NBA champion achieved a triple-double, scoring 19 points, providing 16 assists, and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Agbaji Shares Approach To Face Off With James And The Lakers

During halftime, when the Raptors were two points ahead of the Lakers, Agbaji revealed the team’s game plan. He pointed out that the Lakers players were less focused on defense, which he identified as their weak point. Agbaji also mentioned that the Raptors would take advantage of this vulnerability.

“Obviously, they don’t really want to get back so we get a rebound and we are out running. That’s the game plan and we will try to do that in the second half.” Agbaji said to the reporters during the halftime.

Despite all the planning, the Lakers won the game thanks to a stellar performance by James and Anthony Davis. Davis had been sidelined for a few games due to injury but returned in the previous matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. In the recent game against the Raptors, Davis scored 22 points, provided three assists, and grabbed four rebounds before leaving the game due to an eye injury.
