The wife of a die-hard Detroit Lions fan found out the hard way after putting his Sunday viewing at risk because she wanted to shop at Target.

The video below shows the man repeatedly warning his wife that they need to be out of the store by a specific time, but she pays little heed and then has to take an Uber back home after getting left behind.

When she finally makes it home, her husband and their kids are decked out in Lions gear and watching the game. He lets her know she shouldn’t interfere with history.

We couldn’t find anyone who sided with the wife in the comments.

“What’s the issue? She had her chance. 🤣,” a user pointed out.

“No foul on the play,” another added.

“He meant what he said,” a third remarked. “Next time she will take it more seriously.”

“Can’t fault him. I wouldn’t have been dragged there in the first place,” someone else said.

“Damn right !!! My wife would have ubered too !! 🤣🤣🤣,” another laughed.

“She tested him and disrespected him. He was clear but she fooled around and found out,” a comment read.

Of course, this is likely to be a skit. But the message is still important: Don’t get between a man and his football.
