When Bronny James made his South Bay Lakers debut against Salt Lake City, he wasn’t without encouragement. Everyone was there to support the rising talent, including Savannah James, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the couple’s youngest kid, Zhuri. It’s possible that Zhuri herself wanted her brother to be successful. But she wouldn’t have thought to hug him after his long stint on the court.

Cameras caught Bronny James spending time with his family as the G-League game at the UCLA Health Training Center ended. Zhuri hugged her older brother before rubbing something off her clothes and giving him a disgusted face.

It appears that Bronny had sweat buildup, which unintentionally trickled down to Zhuri during his hug. The 10-year-old was undoubtedly horrified, but her response made the commentators giggle.

With the potential to go viral, the video would have undoubtedly attracted LeBron James’s notice sooner rather than later. It was swift for the same thing to occur. The Lakers player used his official Instagram story to mark the occasion. LeBron clarified that he didn’t need to elaborate on Zhuri’s amusing incident by including a series of laughing emojis as a caption.

Short Glimpe Of Bronny James’ G-League Debut For The South Bay Lakers

On Saturday, Bronny James made his G-League debut with the South Bay Lakers, and his family, including Lakers star Anthony Davis, attended his first game. Although they didn’t do anything to attract attention, it was obvious that they were paying close attention to the game and every second that Bronny was on the court. Gloria James was also present, bringing the family’s three generations together in the gym to celebrate Bronny’s G-League debut.

Bronny started for the Lakers tonight as a small forward and finished with 6 points, four assists, and three rebounds on 2-10 shooting from the floor against the Salt Lake City Stars. Even though he committed a team-high five turnovers, his devoted fans remained upbeat throughout the game.

Although Bronny may not be fully prepared for NBA play for some time, he has more time than usual to establish himself in the league because he signed a 4-year rookie contract this summer. As he learns on the fly and gets used to his new competitive environment, the 19-year-old is still taking things slowly.
