Bills defensive lineman Dawuane Smoot is getting destroyed online over a cheap shot he took at Ravens fullback Patrick Ricard.

Ricard did an excellent job of frustrating the Bills’ defense in the first quarter of the ‘Sunday Night Football’ showdown. The players got tangled up on a play that saw running back Derrick Henry make a five-yard carry before Ricard pushed Smoot off him.

The DE responded by kneeing him in the head while he was still on the ground.

Check it out in the video below:

“He should be ejected,” a fan suggested.

“how isn’t this an ejection?” another asked.

“Should have been ejected,” someone agreed.

“And to think we were going to sign him……smh,” said another.

“Big fine coming.  On top of this beatdown,” a user predicted.

Dawuane Smoot Was Punished For His Classless Actions Toward Patrick Ricard

While Dawuane Smoot was not ejected for the dirty move on Patrick Ricard, he was penalized for it. Baltimore earned an extra 15 yards, which helped them score a second touchdown and go 14-3.

Smoot can expect a hefty fine for the disgusting act. And, should the NFL deem it to be an infraction of player safety rules or a flagrant foul, there would be no limitation on the sum.

Meanwhile, the Ravens have gone into halftime with a commanding 21-3 lead, so Ricard shouldn’t mind all that much, especially if they hold on to the lead.
