Once again, Lane Hutson wowed the crowd for the Montreal Canadiens, and once again, he gave us some exceptional footage.

It’s almost becoming redundant, but he once again demonstrated just how electrifying he is on the ice, this time against the Ottawa Senators.

Hutson now has 5 points in 5 NHL games, and Saturday night, he absolutely should have had another point (an assist on Emil Heineman’s goal).

Lane Hutson fools everyone in an arena, whether it’s opposing players, journalists, or even cameramen

You read that right. Here’s what journalist Arpon Basu had to say:

«You can tell yourself not to fall for Lane Hutson’s shoulder fake, but in the moment, it really feels impossible not to get fooled.» – Arpon Basu

Unfortunately, this wasn’t the camera angle that was broadcast live on television at the time on Sportsnet, but here’s what Lane Hutson managed to pull off.

Check out the footage.

It’s absolutely incredible.

You sometimes see this in football – a player completely fooling the cameras – but in hockey, it’s almost unheard of, and it says a lot about the young Hutson’s skills.

The Sportsnet network later shared the footage to show just how perfect Lane Hutson’s fakes are, but it wasn’t aired live initially.

In short, Lane Hutson is going to be something really, really special, and we are extremely lucky to have him with the Montreal Canadiens.

After all, he’s only 20 years old and has only 5 games of NHL experience.

Imagine what he’ll be like in a few years!
