We just received an unexpected announcement involving the young Montreal Canadiens goaltender, Jacob Fowler.
This follows an incident that occurred last night during the NCAA matchup between the Boston College Eagles and the University of Connecticut Huskies.

He will be ineligible to play next Tuesday, November 19, against Providence.

Fowler delivered a direct blocker strike to an opponent’s face, which led to his ejection from the game. He lost his composure.

We didn’t see this coming, but at least Fowler, who plays nearly every game for Boston College, will get a brief night off.
