Kyle Singler has been raising concerns recently with his disturbing social media updates. While the entire NBA community seems to be tense, the local police department is reported to be aware of the situation. A representative of the Medford Police Department in Oregon confirmed to TMZ Sports the mysterious uploads that the former Pistons and Thunder star has been posting.

The rep however, refrained from providing any further details regarding the curious case of Kyle Singler. “We are not going to make any comment on any mental health matter with our citizens,” said the spokesperson. Meanwhile, the recent activities of Singler in his social media has been quite disturbing to say the least.

Singler initially caused stirs among his fans when he uploaded a video where the former NBA star could be seen barefoot and shirtless. In the video, Singler claimed to have been abused, neglected, and mistreated. He also stated that he was being “made into a mental example.”

“I fear for my life… everyday. People in my community make me look out as someone that’s gonna be a problem. and make things difficult for people,” stated Singler.

Singler also uploaded a video on his Instagram this Sunday. He was spotted meditating without a shirt, sitting on a pillow in a room. While these updates might paint a sorry picture, Kyle Singler’s time in the NBA was anything but sorry.

How Did Kyle Singler’s Basketball Career Look Like? 

Kyle Singler showed promise early on in his career. Representing the US, Singler won the gold medal at the 2006 FIBA Americas U18 Championship. Playing for Duke in the NCAA, Singler led his team to a historic championship run back in 2010. Owing to his phenomenal form, Singler was awarded the title of NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player in the same year.

Kyle Singler’s crowning moment in professional basketball was being picked up by the Detroit Pistons in 2011. Playing for seven seasons in the NBA, Singler appeared in 356 games, averaging 6.5 points per game. He also had 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists to show for his short NBA career. Thus, with an envelope of mystery surrounding the former NBA star, it now remains to be seen what happens next.
