The Jacksonville Jaguars had an overall bad night on Monday.
After putting up arguably the worst effort of the year against the Buffalo Bills, which saw them lose 47-10, the Jaguars just wanted to leave Buffalo and head home to Jacksonville to get some rest and regroup.
However, NFL Network reported that the Jaguars were unable to do so until after 1 a.m. ET due to some mechanical issues with their plane.
That departure time set Jacksonville up for a quite late arrival in Florida, following a nearly three-hour delay.
As if the night couldn’t get worse for the #Jaguars… their plane is dealing with mechanical issues and as of now, they can’t take off and fly home from Buffalo until after 1 am. ✈️ 🤕

The extremely late return for the Jacksonville Jaguars won’t help matters as they have a short week to prepare to face the division rival Houston Texans in Week Four.
Jacksonville Jaguars Are In A Huge 0-3 Hole And A Slide That Started In 2023
After dropping two close games to AFC opponents, the Jacksonville Jaguars had some hope that they could see their first victory on Monday Night.
The Jacksonville Jaguars entered Monday night’s game in a 0-2 hole and desperately needed a win to make a statement against the Buffalo Bills.
Their hope was ruined on the Bills’ first drive as they easily scored a touchdown and kept doing so with each possession.
Josh Allen led the Bills on touchdown drives on each of their five first-half possessions.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team in peril. Last year, this same squad appeared to have put things together with an 8-3 start that put the No. 1 seed in the AFC in reach.
Then, the wheels fell off, and they lost five of their last six games, finishing 9-8 and out of the playoff picture.
