Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams dropped an interesting hint on which team he might get traded to.

Davante Adams requested a trade from the Raiders earlier this month after they defeated the Cleveland Browns at home. The 31-year-old is in the third season of a five-year, $140 million deal he signed with Vegas after coming over via trade with the Green Bay Packers in 2022.

It has been widely reported that Adams wants to play for the New York Jets or New Orleans Saints, given his familiarity with Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr. Adams and Rodgers played together in Green Bay from 2014 to 2021, and Carr was his teammate at Fresno State and in Vegas during the 2022 campaign.

But some fans are now wondering if Davante Adams will go to the Buffalo Bills. That’s because the five-time Po Bowler started following Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen on Instagram:

The Bills need a No. 1 wide receiver after trading Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in the offseason. Rookie Keon Coleman has just 175 yards, and free agent pickup Curtis Samuel has 48 yards.

Buffalo still looks like the team to beat in the AFC East, with all three of their opponents entering Week 6 with losing records. So don’t be surprised if GM Brandon Beane makes a trade for a wide receiver, though a move for a player like Adams is easier said than done.

Davante Adams Makes Sense For Bills If The Price Is Right

Allen’s performance this season without a superstar pass-catcher has been admirable, but one can only wonder how much better the offense would be with a future Hall of Famer like Adams.

The Bills have shown they can hang in there with the dynastic Kansas City Chiefs in big games. Perhaps a player like Davante Adams could be the final piece to help Buffalo complete a Super Bowl puzzle once and for all.
