NBA fans are in stitches over a priceless glitch of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his son, rookie Bronny James, in the new NBA 2K25 video game.

The Lakers selected Bronny James with the No. 55 selection in the 2024 NBA Draft, making him and LeBron James the first NBA father-son duo in history to play together. Bronny played college basketball at USC before turning pro.

The new NBA 2K25 video game was released last Friday, with Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum and Las Vegas Aces legend A’ja Wilson gracing the cover for the “All-Star Edition.”

Like every popular sports video game, however, NBA 2K25 certainly wasn’t short of glitches that went viral online. The No Context NBA X/Twitter account shared a glitch of Bronny sitting on the Lakers bench, with LeBron James’ hand around his waist:

And as you would expect, fans had plenty of hysterical reactions to the glitch:

Bronny appeared in 25 games during his one season of college basketball, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Leading up to the NBA Draft, there was speculation that teams would reach for Bronny, believing it would help their chances of landing LeBron James. Of course, the latter agreed to a two-year extension with the Purple and Gold after they drafted Bronny.

Bronny & LeBron James Aim To Win A Title Together

James turns 40 years of age in December, and it’s no secret that he’s nearing the end of his playing career. So the Lakers have limited opportunities to win another title with the four-time NBA Champion, and it’ll be interesting to see if the front office can swing any blockbuster trades during the season to strengthen their chances of winning it all.

The Lakers kick off their 2024-25 season on Oct. 22 against Anthony Edwards and the Minneesota Timberwolves, the first contest of a three-game homestand.
