Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels broke every heart in Chicago in his first game against the Bears, snatching a win with an incredible Hail Mary throw at the death this Sunday.

The Commanders-Bears showdown was among the most highly-anticipated in Week 8, given that it thrust Daniels and Caleb Williams into their first match against each other.

Jayden came out on top at the end, ruining the weekend for the Bears. And an old tweet of his calling his most recent opponents “terrible” has resurfaced following the win.

Check it out below:

Jayden Daniels Couldn’t Have Known, Yet He Always Knew

Daniels would have been 13 years old back then and probably had no idea he’d even get to play Chicago, let alone beat them. It sort of makes his game-winner even more special.

“Thank God Jayden didn’t get drafted to that dumpster fire in Chicago,” one of the comments read.

“He owns them, too,” a fan wrote.

“As a bears fan I don’t think he’s the only person in this world that knew that…” someone added.

“bruh was 13 talking s**t, now he’s 23 backing up his talk,” another observed.

Next up for Jayden is another mouthwatering matchup, with his former LSU teammate Malik Nabers and the Giants scheduled to host the Commanders in Week 9.
