The Philadelphia Eagles have made a final decision regarding an endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.

The team stated they are working to remove a series of counterfeit political ads that have cropped up around Philadelphia, which showed they had made their political stance clear when it did not come from them.

“We are aware counterfeit political ads are being circulated and are working with our advertising partner to have them removed,” the team said Monday.

Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, is set to face Republican nominee and 45th president, Donald Trump.

As the 2024 election and the NFL season draw near, the Philadelphia Eagles likely do not want to upset anybody in their fan base.

According to images posted on social media, the political advertisements featuring Eagles’ branding were spotted at Philadelphia bus stops and features a caricature side profile of Kamala Harris wearing an Eagles helmet and a message of endorsement with the text: “Official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles.”

It also features an Eagles logo above “Kamala” in bold, white letters.

What really made it look real was the ads’ link to Philadelphiaeagles.com/vote, a real site that the team has set up to provide nonpartisan information about how to register to vote and learn more about upcoming elections.

The Philadelphia Eagles Made The Correct Decision On The Fake Political Ads

Unfortunately, every four years, millions of people in this country live and die by their favorite entertainers announcing they are backing their political party or candidate.

The best thing that the Philadelphia Eagles did was denounce that they were backing any candidate immediately, as a show of silence on the matter would’ve brought more questions than answers.
