Over the years, Law & Order: SVU has seen several stars roll through the station house.

And it now looks like Aime Donna Kelly who plays Renee Curry is also set to depart the show.

A new released roster for the Manhattan SVU reveals Renee is no longer part of the squad.

She started working for Captain Olivia Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay before she was promoted to the official elite squad.

At the beginning of series 26, Renee is still very much part of the show – but Mariska shared a sneak peek image in August of her crew and Renee was noticeably missing.

The official line-up includes just four members – Finn, Velasco, Bruno, and Silva.

This means that in the next couple of episodes, Renee will have to leave Special Victims.

Who are the current cast?

Mariska Hargitay portrays the role of Captain Olivia “Liv” Benson.

The daughter of Mickey Hargitay, she has been with the show since its very first episode in 1999.

Hargitay has also been seen making cameo appearances as Olivia in Law & Order: Organized Crime, Law & Order, and Chicago PD.

Tracy Lauren Marrow, better known by the stage name Ice-T, portrays the role of Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola.

Ice-T joined the show in 2000 and has since been seen in over 500 episodes, making him the longest-running male actor in a TV series, according to NBC.

Octavio Pisano portrays the role of Detective Joe Velasco.

He first joined the show in 2021 and was an instant hit among fans.

Peter Scanavino will also be back.

Scanavino plays detective-turned-prosecutor Sonny Carisi, Assistant District Attorney.

Sonny Carisi began his career with the SVU in 2014, the show’s 16th season.

In a promo clip for the show in 2014, Scanavino described his character as “brusk.”

He said: “He’s brusk and he doesn’t really get the nuances and he’s not very experienced so he puts his foot in his mouth a lot of times.

“But he’s learning. He’s picking it up. I think he’s a good detective, but he’s got a lot to learn on how to approach cases.”

It was reported that the role of Carisi was written for Scanavino, who eventually took over as the lead male detective when Nick Amaro left the show.

He later went to law school and passed the New York bar exam, before moving over to become the Assistant District Attorney.

Why do some fans think Peter Scanavino is leaving Law and Order?

The end of season 23 saw an ending that no one was expecting.

Detective Amanda Rollins and Carisi got married, but not before Rollins could tell Olivia Benson that she was planning on leaving the squad.

She had a new job, which some fans thought might mean moving away.

However, it was later revealed that the detective had taken a position as a professor at Fordham University.

That revelation confirmed that Carisi would also remain in the city as part of the SVU team and on the show.

Fordham University is located in New York City.
