On Sunday, the Washington Commanders lost to the Dallas Cowboys 34-26 after kicker Austin Seibert missed an extra point attempt down 27-28.
It also came after an 86-yard touchdown from Terry McLaurin with less than 30 seconds left.
Of course, anything could have happened, but if that extra point were good, the game would have likely gone to overtime, and with how the Commanders were playing, it would have been bad to stop them.
Many fans are calling for a massive rule change, which, if implemented, would have completely reshaped the game.

Of course, the chances of the NFL using any of these people’s ideas, considering how important field goals and extra points are in every game, even if some Commanders fans continue to be upset.
Commanders-Cowboys Game Made A Major Wrinkle In The NFC East
Going into the game, the Commanders were in a very good spot to win the division, but this loss to the Cowboys can change all that.
The Eagles are currently 8-2 in the lead, with Washington 7-5 behind. There’s a strong chance that Dallas just played spoiler on the Commander’s chances of being the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
