Evidently, frustration is unfortunately starting to take hold of Kirby Dach, who is having a very difficult start to the season with the Montreal Canadiens.
The young forward, who still has a lot of potential and could very well become a pillar for Martin St-Louis’s squad, is beginning to show concerning signs.
Notably, as we reported earlier today, there was a rare scene live from Brossard, where Kirby Dach lost his patience and left the ice to sit on the bench.
He was not in a good mood.
Appearing in front journalists, before being interrupted and cut off, Martin St-Louis discussed the “Kirby Dach” situation.
Yes, things got intense this morning in Brossard.
Martin St-Louis sends a message to his young forward Kirby Dach
The head coach simply stated that Kirby needs to manage his emotions.
«Your mind has to be stronger than your emotions. That’s what we’re talking about. [He is emotional], so his mind has to be strong.»
St-Louis acknowledged the obvious, Dach is not the same player right now.
«His puck touches aren’t as sharp as they used to be. It’s partly a confidence issue. Sometimes, a player just needs the puck to bounce in his favor.
The work ethic is there. He’ll be the first to tell you his puck touches aren’t as good.»

We are confident that Dach will bounce back, especially since St-Louis seems to have an excellent relationship with him. He just needs to regain his confidence.
Dach, only 23 years old, is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound forward with 8 points in 19 games this season in Montreal.
