LeBron James has broken nearly every record to cement his place in the GOAT discussion. However, what truly sets him apart in the debate against Michael Jordan, the prospect of becoming the first active father-son duo in NBA history, following the drafting of his son, Bronny James.

LeBron recently expressed his excitement about the possibility of playing alongside Bronny on the HBO show “The Shop.” He shared his emotions about the upcoming season and the chance to step onto the court with his son.

I’m so excited for training camp… I really cannot wait to hit the floor with [Bronny]. It’s going to be pretty surreal for me. That might be the first time I sit back like, ‘Oh, sh*t, this is really cool,’” LeBron said.

For LeBron, playing alongside Bronny has always been a cherished dream. However, that dream faced a serious setback when Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during his college basketball career at USC. The incident cast doubts on whether they would ever share the court professionally.

Despite the scare, the Lakers made moves to support LeBron’s aspiration. After securing Dalton Knecht in the first round, the Lakers went on to fulfill LeBron’s dream by selecting Bronny with the No. 55 overall pick.

LeBron James Discusses the Legacy He Hopes to Leave

LeBron James is approaching the twilight of his remarkable NBA career after over two decades in the league. As one of the most accomplished players in basketball history, the four-time NBA champion has consistently pushed the boundaries of the game.

As he nears the end of his playing days, James is thinking more about the legacy he will leave behind. In a recent interview on “The Shop,” LeBron opened up about how he wants to be remembered once his playing days are over.

From time to time, I do think about how I want to be remembered, and I hope that it’s not just the game of basketball. You know, I feel like if it’s just the game of basketball, that people, you know, talk about me in the sense of I think I’ve kind of failed my mission,” James said.

LeBron will enter his 22nd NBA season. This upcoming season will also be his first alongside his son, Bronny. Fans of LeBron are eagerly waiting for this historic moment.
