It has been almost a year since people stormed the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., on January 6. Many have gone to jail for their actions that day, including former Lions linebacker Antwione Williams.

Footage clearly shows Williams in the crown during the riots, and it was revealed that he was identified by a red key fob attached to his pants.

CBS News also reports that Williams was among the first few to enter the Capitol, which means he was much deeper than just protesting outside.

The FBI made the arrest in Savannah, Georgia, presumably where he lives.

Antwione Williams Had A Very Short NFL Career

Williams’s admission to the NFL is impressive, but he was not in the league for very long.

The Lions took him in the fifth round. In his rookie years, he appeared in 14 games and even started three of them.

At that time, Williams forced one fumble while racking up 27 total tackles. His NFL journey came to an end, as he would never see another snap.
