Not only are Montreal Canadiens fans seriously disappointed with the team’s start to the season, but forward Brendan Gallagher is too.

While many genuinely believed the Habs could be in the mix this season, it only took a few games to realize that clearly won’t be the case.

It’s becoming clear that the rebuild is weighing on the morale of fans-and on some players as well.

Brendan Gallagher is fed up with the Montreal Canadiens’ rebuild and sends a clear message to his team

Gallagher, one of the few players on the team having an outstanding start to the season (under the circumstances), and a true warrior, is visibly running out of patience.

It’s understandable.

He’s a true winner and clearly sees the end of his career approaching. Time is running out for him.

If he wants a real shot at winning the Stanley Cup one day, would it be better for him to respectfully request a trade from Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton?

“It’s evident in his recent comments.

In a recent article by Arpon Basu about team standards, it’s clear Gally is tired of seeing the Canadiens lose games they could win.”

– Charles-Alexis Brisebois

Here were his comments:

“Enough with blowing leads at the end of games.

We have young players, but they’ve been in the league long enough. We have expectations, and we’re not going to use age as an excuse.”

Brendan Gallagher

Let’s just say his message is extremely clear, and personally, I love hearing it. Clearly, he wants to be in the mix this season!

This is a situation to keep an eye on if the Canadiens continue to struggle.
